Her face flushed hot and her very soul shivered as she stared him directly in the eyes. It was incredible, how different he looked to her with the truth shone bright in her face like a spotlight. How she had admired him. Adored him. Hung on his every sickening word.
They had all been lies. Lies and manipulations all geared towards serving his disgusting, nefarious purpose. He had used her to manipulate her sister and gain access to her father's funds. And, the most disgusting part of all was his attempt to gain sexual satisfaction without her consent. He was vile.
Shiloh... no. David Henry Archer was the leader of a cult and she had fallen right into his hands like a naive child. But today... today was a new day and she was reborn in the knowledge that he was going to get what was coming to him. She'd testify against him. Her and several other women who had fallen prey to the Dawn Of Day fallacy. For her own part, Kristina felt a sense of guilt, because she had been saved from his assault where others had not. But she swallowed that guilt down as she stared at him now and remained defiant in the face of his placating words. Those words meant nothing but deceit to her now.
"No home, no flock, no chance of getting out of these charges. When you go to trial, I am going to testify against you. Me and quite a few of your 'lost souls', actually. With the overwhelming evidence the police already have, you're going to be in prison for the rest of your life, David," She spat his true name out viciously, "Which is only half as long as you deserve. All that preaching about karma and it's coming for you,"

She never let him get a word in before she walked away, finally feeling completely free of him and his hold. Rotting in jail was less than he deserved, but she was going to enjoy every single second of watching him go down.
